Free Guide to Northwest Camping
Campground Description: Bluebill Campground is owned and operated by the US Forest Service. The Horsfall Recreation Area consists of the Horsfall Campground, Horsfall Beach Campground, Bluebill Campground, Spinreel Campground and the Wild Mare Horse Campground. This area is set up for off road vehicle enthusiasts to take their vehicles out and explore sand dunes that reach from the edge of the ocean to heights of almost 500 feet. If you camp here you can reasonably expect to hear off road vehicles revving their engines from dawn to dusk and later. Unlike the Horsfall Campground and the Horsfall Beach Campground, Bluebill Campground offers tent campers and RV campers the luxury of individual campsites and trees. Bluebill Campground is perhaps the second nicest of the campgrounds in the Horsfall Recreation Area. Open May 1 to September 30. Reservations are possible. Complete shopping and services are available in Coos Bay.
