Edison Creek Campground
Campground Description: Edison Creek Campground is owned and operated by the Bureau of Land Management. The campground is situated at the confluence of the Sixes River and Edison Creek. Edison Creek Campground is one of the nicest tent camping campground you'll ever find. RVs are welcome as well, but Edison Creek Campground offers acres of lawn to camp upon. Fishermen come to the Edison Creek to fish for native Steelhead, Salmon and sea run cutthroat trout. Edison Creek Campground offers tent camping and has RV camping sites big enough for larger motor homes. Gold panning is a popular and sometimes profitable activity. A boat ramp is located across the street from the campground. Groceries and some shopping is available in Port Orford. Open April 1 to September 30. Reservations are not possible.

Waste Water Dump Station: No. The nearest is in Port Orford at the Chevron Station. A small fee is required
Directions: From Highway 101 northbound or southbound, drive to the town of Sixes. Turn east on Edison Creek Road and follow for 4 miles, then turn left before you cross the Edison Creek Bridge
Fishing: In season, fish for native Steelhead and Salmon. Edison Creek also supports sea run cutthroat trout.
Astronomy Opportunities: Very good because there are acres of lawn to setup on. The exact location for computerized telescopes is 42.81638� N, 124.40931� W
